NZ Bloodstock Karaka Sales  & NZ Bloodstock South Island Sale
In our first years of attending Karaka we went under the banner a Poplar Lodge (Brian & Jackie O'Shea) but over the last few years due to having a bigger draft we have spread our wings and gone under our own name.  We have found preparing the yearlings at home in Canterbury then trucking them north approximately 10 days before the sales has worked well for us.

We offer the following -

-          Stabling

-          Individual Paddocks (colts not a problem)

-          Feeding program to suit each yearlings needs

-          Single or Double Rugged as required

Myles is a respected farrier (with 20yrs+ experience who has attended courses at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in America) and is the farrier to many of the larger thoroughbred stables situated in Canterbury.  

Debbie has had many years experience working at leading studs (Nevele R Stud & Redoute Park Stud) and trainers which had given her strong background in general stable routines, stud duties, yearling preparation and making her aware that every horse has it own individual needs.
