NZ Bloodstock South Island Sale

NZ Bloodstock Karaka Sales - For this sale we go under the banner a Poplar Lodge (Brian & Jackie O'Shea) due to the convenience of working with a great team of experienced horse people (and not having to take everything including the kitchen sink up north). We have found that this has worked well for us, preparing the yearlings at home in Canterbury then trucking them north approximately 10 days before the sales.

We offer the following

-          Stabling

-          Individual Paddocks (colts not a problem)

-          Under Lights (South Island Sales)

-          Feeding program to suit each yearlings needs

-          Single or Double Rugged as required

-          Website Photos

-          No commission is charged

Myles is a respected farrier (with 20yrs+ experience who has attended courses at Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine in America) which gives us the opportunity to offer yearlings to best care in this area. Myles attends many of the yearlings in the Canterbury who attend the Karaka Sales, such as Beltana Stud and Berkley Stud.  

Debbie has had many years experience working at leading studs (Nevele R Stud & Redoute Park Stud) and trainers which had given her strong background in general stable routines, stud duties, yearling preparation and making her aware that every horse has it own individual needs.
